From syncope to abnormal heart rhythm to heart failure, cardiovascular complaints keep the General Practitioner, Emergency Specialists and other health professionals busy. This CME explores some common cardiovascular complaints and ways in which they can be correctly diagnosed, treated and prevented. The relationship between psychiatric disorders and cardiovascular health will also be explored including how the psychological and physiological effects of stress could contribute to cardiovascular disease etiology. Presenters include local Cardiologists, Emergency Specialists, Psychiatrist, Internists and others. Doctors, nurses, allied health, mental health professionals & other interested persons are invited to attend. CPE credit is available.
